Our Bingo's Pet Shop is named after "Bingo the dog"**, a former shelter animal
who touched the hearts of EHS staff and volunteers**.

The boutique is located near the adoptions desk in our shelter and offers something for any pet.  From food, pet treats, leashes, toys, to grooming supplies, we help you meet all your pets' needs.  But we don't just cater to animals.  We also offer a few items that humans would love to pick up for themselves, like logo'd EHS apparel.

Bingo

**When Bingo arrived in the shelter in July of 2007, he quickly became part of our family; endearing us all with his zest for life and the simple joy he received from a stroll around the block.

Staff and volunteers alike waited for Bingo to find a forever home.  Little did we know that Bingo had already found it.  Although he did not show any signs of being in any serious pain, a staff member petting him noticed that something was wrong with him physically.

The next morning he was sent for x-rays and further testing which revealed that he was suffering from advanced bone cancer and already had sustained fractures due to his condition.  After considering his age and addition to the future suffering he would endure, the difficult decision was made to say farewell.

Surrounded by those who loved him most, Bingo was humanely euthanized that afternoon in December, 2007.

Bingo's Pet Shop - in memory of Bingo and those who we couldn't save, but loved anyway.
