Our summer program, Camp Sit. Stay. Play!, has week-long sessions held throughout July and August and we are in need of assistance! The role of the Junior Volunteer is to help the camp instructor teach pet responsibility to students (ages 6 through 14), resulting in greater compassion for all living things. They also assist with the set-up and clean-up of camp activities, monitoring children’s break times, and serve as role models for campers. The application for Junior Volunteers is available now and the deadline to apply is June 1, 2010.
DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 8, 2010
At minimum, applicants must be entering grade nine in the fall of 2010 and may be no older than 18 years old. Junior Volunteers must be able and willing to commit to only one full week-long session (volunteers are only required to volunteer for one week, but may sign up for additional weeks if desired), Monday through Friday.
Please note: This program has a separate application, interview, and training process from our year round volunteer program. Please ensure that you submit the application found below to be considered for the Junior Volunteer program.
