Do I have a story for you!
Juliet came into shelter with a fractured pelvis and dislocated tail. She was unable to walk and quite painful. Her tail is paralyzed and required amputation but is fortunately healed quite well. She spent several weeks in care, both in shelter and in foster and her pelvic fractures have healed amazingly well. She still needs a few weeks of quiet activity before resuming a busy-body lifestyle. Here is a peek into the behaviors noted in shelter:

I'm a Confidant! A reliable partner, a sidekick to your superhero! Need a fuzzy shoulder to cry on? I'm there! Need a buddy to keep your toes toasty warm in winter? I'm the toastiest. My favorite activities include anything that involves being right by your heel. I do like a little space to do my own thing sometime, like when there are other buddies to cuddle with, but at the end of the day, when you curl up in bed, I'll be there too. I would love a home which will let me be alone when I need but is also willing to share lots of cuddles! I can't wait to find my newest partner in crime!
