Give Monthly Through the Edmonton Humane Society's PAWS Program

It's hard to believe anyone could bring harm to a helpless animal, but it  happens frequently and that's why we need your help. By joining the Edmonton Humane Society’s PAWS Program you'll help rescue animals, and provide them shelter, food and medical care. Please be an animal angel and join our monthly giving team.

 

For your convenience we have put together some of the most commonly asked questions below about how our monthly giving program works. Our PAWS (Pre-Authorized Withdrawal System) Program makes monthly giving

simple and easy for you, and ensures we can count on your support throughout the year.

Q & A:

Q: I noticed on your online form that there is no option to give monthly through my bank account. Is there a way to set this up?
A: Absolutely! Please contact us by phone 780-491-3507 or email giving@edmontonhumanesociety.com.

Our online processing form is not able to collect banking information, but we process monthly gifts through
direct debit also.

Q: Once I’ve set up my monthly gift online, how can I make changes to my account i.e. change amount, change my credit card number or bank account information?
A: It’s so easy! All you need to do is drop us a line – phone 780-491-3507 or email giving@edmontonhumanesociety.com.
If we receive your change prior to the month’s processing deadline we can make the change effective for that month. If not, it’ll take effect the next month.

Q: What if I need to stop giving, can I stop whenever I want?
A: Of course! You have complete control. Just let us know either by phone 

780-491-3507 or email giving@edmontonhumanesociety.com. Your cancellation would take place the same month, or the following month, depending upon when we received your notice.

Q: When will I receive my tax receipt?
A: All monthly donors receive an annual tax receipt in early February, for the prior year’s total contributions.

Q: When will my credit card or bank account first be charged?
A: Monthly credit card charges and bank withdrawals occur on the 16th of each month, or the next business day if the 16th falls on a weekend or holiday.

Q: What information will I receive from the Edmonton Humane Society?
A: All monthly donors receive our Pawprints newsletter twice a year as well as our other direct mail pieces. If you prefer not to receive mail or would prefer only one mailing each year, simply let us know by phone 780-491-3507 or email giving@edmontonhumanesociety.com and we’ll remove you from the list.
