Join us this October and November for day camps for youth aged 6 – 12, where campers will spend the day at EHS learning about animals, their welfare, and how to be a caring companion in our world.

Animal Interactions During Humane Education Programs

Please note that while we try our best to have our Animal Ambassadors attend programs at our facility, we cannot guarantee animal interaction. We can’t predict whether we will have animals in shelter that would benefit from socialization.

Camp Schedule

Drop-off at EHS

8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Camp Hours

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Pick-up at EHS

4:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Experience our Shelter Helpers day camp during the fall break, designed for youth aged 6 – 12.

Dates

Monday, October 20 and November 10-14

Cost

$75.99 per day (including fees and taxes)

Campers will:

  • Learn about shelter operations and the impact of volunteers.
  • Create animal enrichments and crafts.
  • Help out in various shelter spaces.
  • Participate in our animal interaction presentations.
  • See behind-the-scenes at EHS.
  • Receive a commemorative camp t-shirt that can be signed by fellow campers as a cherished memento of their time at camp!
