Get Ready for Your Favourite Festival for Fur-iends!

The Edmonton Humane Society invites you to Pets in the Park on Sunday, June 25 at a whole new space – Buena Vista Park!

Back for another day of festival fun in the sun, we’re ready to paw-ty. Come celebrate the special bond we have with our pets as we raise funds supporting EHS and enjoy a day full of paw-some events and activities for people and pets. This event is free to attend and so are all of our activitiy stations!

Buena Vista Park

New Location, Same Festival Fun!

With Hawrelak Park closed for construction over the next couple of years, we had to relocate the festival directly across the river to Buena Vista Park! The park is located on the north bank of the river, adjacent to Sir Wilfred Laurier Park.

Want to get a head start on planning your day at Pets in the Park? Download the official festival map so you can get the lay of the land and pick which activities you want to do first!

Form a Pack & Join the EHS Run/Walk for Pets!

Leash-up, lace-up and join us for the EHS Run/Walk for Pets! Register today as either an individual paw-ticipant or with your family, fur-ends or colleagues for a 5 km run or a 2.5 km walk and start gathering pledges in support of animals in our care.

Collect pledges using your own custom fundraising page and for every $10 you raise, you’ll receive a chance to win one of our paw-some prizes on event day – including pet food for a year from Champion Pet Foods! The more you raise, the more chances you’ll have to win and the more our animals will benefit.

  • My pet is sociable with other animals and has no past history of aggression.

  • My pet will be properly restrained. For everyone’s safety, no retractable leashes.

  • I will monitor my pet for heat sensitivity.
