Pets in the Park - celebrating 25 years!

Edmonton’s official Pet Festival is back! Join us on Sunday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as we celebrate 25 years of opening up Hawrelak Park to our furry, feathered and scaly friends. This is the only day pets are welcome in the park, so lace up your sneakers, stretch those paws and bring the family down for sun, fun and a dog-gone good time!

Walk or Fun Run

You can also help give animals a second chance by taking part in the festival’s walk or fun run!  Each year, people like you continue to show your love and support for animals in in need by raising much-needed funds. Your dollars give homeless and abused animals the medical care, treatment and love they need. Register today and help the thousands of animals that come through our doors to leave with new, loving families.

Online registration for the walk/run is now closed, but registration will be accepted on-site at Hawrelak Park Sunday morning. The registration tent will open at 8 a.m., and the registration fee is $35 for the 5km fun run or $10 for the 2.5km walk.  In the meantime, you can collect pledges (and earn great prizes!) by using our official pledge form, which you can download through the link below.
