Celebrating the Bond Between People and Pets
Back for another day of festival fun in the sun, we’re ready to paw-ty. Come celebrate the special bond we have with our pets as we raise funds to support the work we do at the Edmonton Humane Society. Enjoy a day full of pawesome events and activities for people and companion animals.
This event is free to attend and so are all of our activity stations!
Consider bringing an item for our Toy Drive for Pets, such as toys and non-perishable pet-related items. For details on supplies that we can and can’t accept, visit our Gift in Kind Item Wish List.
We’re Back at Buena Vista Park
This year’s event is once again located at Buena Vista Park!
The park is located on the north bank of the river, adjacent to Sir Wilfred Laurier Park.

Join Our Mailing ListKeep Everyone Safe by Using Our Pet Checklist
We want to make sure that Pets in the Park is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, including our animal friends. Make sure you review this important checklist before heading to the festival with your animal companion!
- My pet’s vaccinations are up-to-date.
- My pet is sociable with other animals and has no past history of aggression.
- My pet will be properly restrained. For everyone’s safety, no retractable leashes.
- I will monitor my pet for heat sensitivity.
- I will pick up after my pet.
- I will know where the water stations are in case my pet gets thirsty or needs to cool down.
