Raise the WOOF this summer at EHS!

Does your child love animals? Do they love crafts, games, and making new friends?

Our week-long summer day camps this July & August are the purr-fect way to make memories and learn more about animals. Youth will learn about animals, their welfare, what we do at EHS and how to be a caring companion to animals in their world.

With tailored activities for two age groups and flexible dates, it’s the perfect chance for your little one to make new furry friends while having a blast with crafts and educational fun.

Here are some exciting activities awaiting your child at EHS Summer Camps:

• Behind the Scenes Shelter Tour: Explore the inner workings of our shelter, including the possibility of witnessing a surgery and visiting the kennels where animals begin their journey.
• Adoption Gallery Visit: Spend time in our adoption gallery, where you can interact with dogs, small animals and cats awaiting loving homes. While touching animals cannot be guaranteed due to fluctuating shelter populations, the experience promises to be both educational and heartwarming.
• Crafting Sessions: Engage in creative activities, crafting enrichment toys for our shelter residents or creating adorable keepsakes to take home.
• Canine Enrichment Center Exploration: Discover the world of agility training as you explore our Canine Enrichment Center.
• Compassionate Animal Interaction Presentation: Your child will also receive a brief presentation on compassionate animal interaction, promoting kindness and respect towards all creatures.
• Commemorative T-shirt: Each camper will receive a special t-shirt to commemorate their day with us. This shirt can be signed by fellow campers and will serve as a cherished memento of their time at our camp.
