I'm a Lone Ranger! I'm quiet, like a shadow on a wall, but if you're sneaky and quiet enough, you might catch a glimpse of my tail zipping around a corner! You may not see very much of me initially as I might be somewhat fearful of new situations. But even though I keep to myself, I might surprise you with some cuddles once in a while. I would love a home which will respect my request for alone time, as well as be open to my love when I choose to give it. I may be nervous, but I can be full of love if you and I work together to help me become a more confident kitty!

Volunteer Comments:
Angel is aptly named as her adorable face, plush coat and personality are just heavenly divine! She has been having a hard time adjusting to shelter life and can be a bit hissy when you first meet her, but she's just trying to tell you that she's scared, and to please slow down. Get to know Angel with a soft voice and tender touch.

During our visit in the Feline Enrichment Room Angel enjoyed lots of respectful and gentle attention; she especially enjoys nice cheek rubs and back scratches, but definitely no tummy rubs please! Angel will let you know if she's had enough attention or does not like what you're doing with a hiss or maybe a swat, but she does so gently and remains easy to handle. Keep in mind she is very stressed with shelter life, but for this reason will do best in a mature home. Angel absolutely adores licking up and then rolling around in a pile of catnip flakes! She has fun playing with a laser light, and especially likes a feathery fishing rod type of toy. Angel thrives on human companionship, has a soft constant purr when happy, and a whole lot of love to share!

When you first bring Angel home set her up in a small room and allow her to settle and get to know her new people well before introducing her to the rest of the home and animals. Help her to gain confidence through treats, play, and lots of love.

Angel has seen some hard times lately, as evidenced by frost bitten ear tips, and is looking forward to finding her own loving forever family where she will never have to worry about being cold and hungry again. She will do best in a calm, loving and mature home, where she can fully destress and go on to show you what a purrfect little Angel she truly is!
