The Edmonton Humane Society’s annual Pets in the Park is coming to you this year with our Neighbourhood Edition, happening Sunday, September 19!
Pet guardians and animal lovers alike are invited to celebrate the incredible impact pets have on our lives, while giving back to animals in need.
You can participate from your own neigbourhood in our virtual walk or run, then stop by for fun and sun at one of our pop-up dog park sites around the city!
Join as an individual, or gather the whole pack and create your own team and compete for some of the pawsome prizes available, including:
- Participant bags for the first 500 people to register (value: $25+)
- Entry for an EHS prize package for each $100 raised (value: $150)
- Entry for an early bird health and wellness gift basket if you register and raise $75+ by September 5 (value of $200+)
- And for the top dogs, a private behind-the-scenes tour of EHS including a catered brunch with the animals for the team and individual who raise the most funds (value: priceless!)
Did you know? Nearly 70% of EHS’ funding come from the generosity of our community – people like you who want to make a difference in the lives of companion animals. Pets in the Park is one of our major fundraisers to support the care of homeless animals and give them a chance at finding new, loving homes.
While this year’s event will look different, you can still make a positive impact for pets in need with your paw-ticipation. Sign up today and get a paw up on your fundraising goal before joining us to celebrate the amazing animals in our lives on Sunday, September 19!
